Dear Brothers,
Peace be upon you and the Mercy and Blessings of Allah.
Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, his companions, and those who follow him. To proceed:
Allah (swt) says:
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَارُ * مُهْطِعِينَ مُقْنِعِي رُءُوسِهِمْ لَا يَرْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِمْ طَرْفُهُمْ وَأَفْئِدَتُهُمْ هَوَاءٌ
"And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]. Racing ahead, their heads raised up, their glance does not come back to them, and their hearts are void." (QS Ibrahim [14]: 42-43)
And the Messenger (saw) said, on the authority of Abu Musa (ra): "The Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُمْلِي لِلظَّالِمِ حَتَّى إِذَا أَخَذَهُ لَمْ يُفْلِتْهُ
'Verily, Allah gives respite to the oppressor, but when He seizes him, He does not let him go.'" Then he (saw) recited:
وَكَذَلِكَ أَخْذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَا أَخَذَ القُرَى وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ إِنَّ أَخْذَهُ أَلِيمٌ شَدِيدٌ
"And thus is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the cities while they are committing wrong. Indeed, His seizure is painful and severe." (QS Hud [11]: 102). Reported by Bukhari and Muslim, with the wording from Bukhari.
Allah (swt) has set for us an example of the ancient tyrants through Pharaoh. He transgressed, oppressed, and was arrogant and proud, saying, "I am your most exalted lord."
فَأَخَذَهُ اللَّهُ نَكَالَ الْآخِرَةِ وَالْأُولَى
"So Allah seized him with an exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgressions]." (QS An-Nazi'at [79]: 25)
He used to muzzle mouths and prevent the word of truth from being spoken. He would not accept any word unless he permitted it and it aligned with his view:
قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ مَا أُرِيكُمْ إِلَّا مَا أَرَى
"Pharaoh said, 'I do not show you except what I see...'" (QS Ghafir [40]: 29). Not only this, but any hint of protest against him, no matter how small, he would accuse of being done without his permission and claim it was a conspiracy against him carried out by foreign hands to destroy the country:
قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ آمَنْتُمْ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ آذَنَ لَكُمْ إِنَّ هَذَا لَمَكْرٌ مَكَرْتُمُوهُ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ لِتُخْرِجُوا مِنْهَا أَهْلَهَا فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
"Pharaoh said, 'You believed in him before I gave you permission. Indeed, this is a conspiracy you have conspired in the city to expel its people therefrom. But you are going to know.'" (QS Al-A'raf [7]: 123)
But in the end, Pharaoh became a relic of the past. He left behind the luxury he lived in and the blessings he enjoyed. No one in the heavens or on the earth wept for him; he was blamed and banished:
كَمْ تَرَكُوا مِنْ جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ * وَزُرُوعٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ * وَنَعْمَةٍ كَانُوا فِيهَا فَاكِهِينَ * كَذَلِكَ وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ * فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنْظَرِينَ
"How much they left behind of gardens and springs, and crops and noble sites, and comfort wherein they were amused. Thus [it was]. And We caused it to be inherited by another people. And the heaven and earth wept not for them, nor were they reprieved." (QS Ad-Dukhan [44]: 25-29)
Dear Brothers: Today’s tyrants have taken the first and second destructive sins from Pharaoh, but they have not taken heed of Pharaoh's end.
They muzzle mouths and do not allow any word unless it is praise for them, hypocrisy, glorification, and applause for everything that comes out of their mouths, whether worthless or substantial. Indeed, they have lost everything substantial, and their worthlessness surrounds them from every side...
They described every protest, no matter how small, as having no license or permission, and as a conspiracy according to a foreign agenda. Everyone knows that they themselves are the product of the foreign agenda, to fight Allah, His Messenger, and the believers, and to realize the interests of the Jews and the colonialist disbelievers (kuffar).
They took these two destructive sins from Pharaoh and followed his path in them, rejoicing in them. But they did not take a lesson from the end that befell Pharaoh. He tasted the evil consequences of his conduct and became forgotten, except for a blazing curse that haunts him in this world and the Hereafter.
They did not take heed of the fate of every unjust tyrant; rather, they continued blindly in their transgression:
That one fled as a fugitive and an outcast, terrified and banished, with his plane circling in the sky searching for a place to receive him, being rejected by this one and that one, until he found another tyrant to provide him with funds and housing!
And that one moves between courts carried on a stretcher, helpless and powerless, answering in humiliation and submissiveness, "Yes, Afandim!" He who used to point his finger in the prime of his power and receive whatever he wanted!
A third did not think anyone was above him. He killed people on suspicion, even without a charge. He was not satisfied with killing the noble and innocent but would tie them—before they breathed their last—to a "Jeep" to drag them on the rough ground until they died after their bodies were torn apart! That tyrant ended up in a lizard’s hole to hide in; before he perished, he found only sewage pipes to shelter him—he who used to describe the people as rats fell into what he described the people as!
A fourth was one who used to command and forbid, but he became one who is commanded and forbidden. He stays in his country for a day and then in Najd for two days. Finally, he roams the lands searching for consolation for himself or mourning his luck, landing in Oman, then turning to his masters in Britain, and then to the physical and psychological treatment station in Washington! All this before returning to his lost kingdom to practice corruption and depravity, inch by inch and cubit by cubit!
And a fifth, devoid of sight and insight, sees what befell the tyrants around him, yet he is not satiated from wallowing in the blood of the innocent who rose up against his tyranny. He kills, kills, and kills... perhaps to extinguish the flame lit by those protesters, forgetting or pretending to forget that the flame of truth lit by the permission of Allah will not be extinguished until it makes him taste the evil consequences of his conduct and casts him into a deep place, blamed and banished like his predecessors before him. It will remove his unjust and oppressive regime and return Ash-Sham to its correct path, which was described by the prayers and peace of Allah be upon him:
أَلَا إِنَّ عُقْرَ دَارِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الشَّامُ
"Behold, the heart of the Abode of the Believers is Ash-Sham." (Narrated by Ahmad)
عُقْرُ دَارِ الْإِسْلَامِ بِالشَّامِ
"The heart of the Abode of Islam is in Ash-Sham." (Narrated by At-Tabarani)
Dear Brothers:
You see with your own eyes and hear with your own ears how tyrants, whom no one expected to disappear like this... then disappeared. And you see with your own eyes and hear with your own ears how the massive and dense wall of fear, which no one thought would collapse like this... then collapsed. In this is a clarification for everyone who has a heart or gives ear while he is a witness: that days alternate, and that the disappearance of darkness and gloom is not far away, even if it is preceded by killing, fire, and iron!
The collapse of the wall of fear of tyrant rulers makes room for a wider field of goodness. It is incumbent upon us to exert every effort to spread goodness within it. Thus, the Ummah performs striking, strong, and wise actions... and the Ummah treats the misguidance and infiltration that has afflicted it, which caused the desired fruits to be somewhat mixed! For the movements and "revolutions" we see—even if they started spontaneously with the self-immolation of Bouazizi and then spread like wildfire... yet the international powers, who were surprised by their timing and could not maintain their agents in the face of the march of those "revolutions," began to work tirelessly to restrict the change to removing the tyrant without penetrating the foundations of the system itself. As they saw that the people's departure was from the mosques and that they were praying in the squares by the thousands, they feared that the structure of the regime would be demolished and replaced by the rule of Islam. Therefore, they resorted to two matters in which they exerted every effort, and still do:
First: They sought to vent these Islamic feelings through misguidance by those they called "moderate Muslims," who are no different from pure secularists except for the Islamic characteristic they attach to their name. Had it not been for that, they would have collapsed among the crowd of secularists without any distinguishing mark... for they call for a civil state and secular democracy just as those others do!
Second: They sought to stand firmly with all kinds of harassment and harm—directly at times and through their agents at other times—against those working sincerely to apply Islam as it is, by establishing the Khilafah, as commanded by Allah (swt) and followed by the Messenger of Allah (saw) and then the Righteous Khulafa after him.
This is what they aim for. As for us, it is our duty to exert every effort to raise the awareness of the people, especially those in charge of these popular movements, and to enlighten them about the danger of the toxins spread by the colonialist disbeliever states and their agents among them, and the danger of the misguidance carried to them by the so-called "moderate Muslims" regarding a civil state and secular democracy... so that they do not take hold of them and cause their sacrifices to be in vain and their blood to be wasted!
Then the Ummah should exert every effort in seeking support (Nusrah) from the people of power, the sincere soldiers among its sons. This should be in a parallel line with directing those movements towards the direction of correct change—the change that removes the basic structure of the man-made regimes subservient to the West, in both ideas and laws; the change through which the Ummah reaches the point of putting Islam into application, in a single Islamic state, the Righteous Khilafah State, with which Allah, His Messenger, and the believers are pleased.
Working within the Ummah and its army is what guarantees correct change. As for seeking help from international organizations and colonialist states, or the plans of the Arab League, or the plans of Annan and other lackeys of the colonialist states, especially America, or sending observers who roll around for ninety days as stated in Security Council Resolution 2043 on 21/04/2012—who are weaker in equipment and fewer in number than football referees in a match of major or even minor importance! Likewise, the misguidance carried out by the US Secretary of Defense before Congress on 20/04/2012 by saying "The Syrian president still enjoys great popularity and loyalty within the ranks of the Syrian army"... all of this falls under the category of giving respite and encouragement to the regime for more killing and oppression, until America finds a new agent to replace its current agent Bashar after he has become an outcast to the Syrians, as America fears he may not be able to carry out its interests...
All these plans neither nourish nor avail against hunger; rather, they are the lethal poison that does not produce correct change, but rather a terrible and fatal change. Its outward appearance contains mercy, but its inward contains punishment. It assumes a dialogue with a butcher regime that has not been satiated from wallowing in pure and sacred blood—so how can there be a dialogue with a butcher regime?! America and the West do not want good for this Ummah; they are the ones who conspired against the state of the Muslims, the Khilafah State, and then tore apart the lands of the Muslims, severed its limbs, and made traveling between the same lands nearly impossible. They are also the ones who established these tyrannical regimes. Therefore, the Ummah must rely on its own strengths and beware of these states, their agents, and their schemes, for they are as He (swt) said:
هُمُ الْعَدُوُّ فَاحْذَرْهُمْ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ
"They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?" (QS Al-Munafiqun [63]: 4)
In conclusion, I open your esteemed conference, "The Ummah's Revolution: Abortion Schemes and the Inevitability of the Islamic Project, by Allah's Permission," asking Allah (swt) for your success and guidance, and that it may bear good and blessed fruit that pleases the onlookers. Our final prayer is that all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
