Speech of the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, the Eminent Scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu al-Rashtah, to the Visitors of his Pages on the Occasion of the Blessed Eid al-Fitr for the Year 1438 AH / 2017 CE

Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, his companions, and those who followed him, and after:

To the Islamic Ummah, whom Allah has honored when He said:

كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ

"You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah." (TMQ Al-Imran [3]: 110)

To the pure and pious dawah carriers—and we do not sanctify anyone before Allah—who speak the best of words and perform the most righteous of deeds, for Allah praised those with these attributes:

وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِمَّنْ دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِين

"And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, 'Indeed, I am of the Muslims'?" (TMQ Fussilat [41]: 33)

To the esteemed visitors of the page who approach it with truth and sincerity, seeking the goodness it carries; may Allah reward them with goodness...

To all of these, I congratulate them on Eid al-Fitr, and I ask Allah (swt) to accept their fasting and their night prayers and to make them among those ransomed from the Fire in this noble month. I also ask Him (swt) that this Eid be a gateway of goodness and blessing for the Muslims, so that the next Eid arrives while we are shaded by the banner of the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate), the banner of La ilaha illallah Muhammad Rasulullah. And that is not difficult for Allah...

In conclusion, I convey my greetings of peace to you and pray for your well-being. May Allah accept your acts of obedience, protect you from all harm, and guard you against every evil.

فَاللَّهُ خَيْرٌ حَافِظًا وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

"But Allah is the best guardian, and He is the most merciful of the merciful." (TMQ Yusuf [12]: 64)

And peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

Night of Eid al-Fitr, 1st of Shawwal 1438 AH Corresponding to 25/06/2017 CE

Your Brother, Ata Bin Khalil Abu al-Rashtah
