"Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration." (Surah Al-Ahzab [33]: 23)
The Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir announces to the Muslims in general and to the shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir in particular, the dear brother whom we lost at dawn on Thursday, 18/05/2023, in Australia...
He was, may Allah have mercy on him, one of the pillars of the party and a member of the Ameer’s Office. He possessed a long history of resisting injustice and remaining steadfast upon the truth, without being shaken by difficulties, trials, the prisons of the tawaghit, or their pursuits. Instead, he only increased in strength upon strength, working with sincerity and devotion, by Allah’s leave...
In this world, his eyes were set upon the banner of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, rising from one peak to another... and in the Hereafter, as He (Glory be to Him) said:
"Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability." (Surah Al-Qamar [54]: 54-55)
May Allah have mercy on our brother and admit him into His spacious gardens, and gather him with the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and how excellent are those as companions... We ask Allah Subhahu for us, for his family, and for the Muslims that we be as the Most Gracious, Most Merciful said:
"Who, when disaster strikes them, say, 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.' Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided." (Surah Al-Baqarah [2]: 156-157)
May Allah have vast mercy on you, O Abu Anas... and we say nothing except what he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said when he lost his son and the apple of his eye, Ibrahim (peace be upon him):
"The eye weeps and the heart grieves, and we say nothing except what pleases our Lord, and we are indeed grieved by your parting, O Ibrahim."
May Allah have mercy on you, O Abu Anas... O our companion and comrade on the path... and to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
Your brother and comrade on the path, Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah
