Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahi-l-hamd

Ameer

To the Islamic Ummah whom Allah has honored, saying:

كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ

"You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah." (QS Ali 'Imran [3]: 110)

To the dawah carriers, the shabab and shabaat of Hizb ut-Tahrir—the pure and pious, and we do not sanctify anyone before Allah—those who speak the best of words and perform righteous deeds, for Allah has praised those with such qualities:

وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِمَّنْ دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِين

"And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, 'Indeed, I am of the Muslims'?" (QS Fussilat [41]: 33)

To the esteemed visitors of the page who approach it with truth and sincerity, seeking the goodness it carries; may Allah reward them with good...

To all of these:

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

I congratulate you on the good and blessed Eid al-Adha, and may Allah accept your acts of obedience... I ask Allah Almighty to accept the Hajj of the pilgrims and to make it a Hajj Mabrur, a thankful endeavor, and a forgiven sin. I also ask Allah to grant success to those who did not perform Hajj this year to perform it next year in goodness and wellbeing, and Allah Almighty takes care of the righteous.

O brothers, Eid comes this year while our Khilafah is still absent. Thus, the colonialist disbelievers and their agents have dared to move against us, igniting killing and bloodshed in our lands. Their brutal crimes have varied from barrel bombs to destructive missiles and chemical weapons... all of this at times by their own hands and at other times by the hands of their agents. Wherever you look, you find the blood of Muslims being shed in injustice and aggression... In the East, there is Burma—and what do you know of Burma? The condition of the Muslims there bleeds the heart due to the crimes of the Buddhists and their atrocities that even the beasts of the forest would shun... Then you see Kashmir and India's crimes there... If you go north, you see Chechnya, the Caucasus, and then Crimea, being ravaged by the hands of Russia, which are steeped in crime and blood... If you move east from there to East Turkestan, you will see China subjecting it to various forms of aggression... And if you go south and touch the seashore, you will find the heart of the Muslims' lands, the Blessed Land, Palestine, the first of the two Qiblas; you will see the Jews occupying it and committing crimes and massacres therein, and you hear the moaning of its mosque, which groans from a deep wound that nearly puts it in its final throes... Then Syria—and what do you know of Syria? Blood flows there from every side. Brutal massacres almost spread through the alleys and neighborhoods at the hands of the tyrant of Syria, supported from behind and in front by America and its followers and factions from Russia to Iran and then the militias... All of them ignite the fire of this killing and bloodshed with all means of destructive murder... And here are the massacres of Idlib looming through the brutal bombing on its sides and the throngs of tyrants heading towards it, mixed with deals of betrayal around it... Then Iraq, the sister of Syria in tragedies and calamities... If you go south to Yemen, which used to be "Happy" (as-Sa'id), you will see it has become sorrowful, ravaged by the tragedies of internal fighting, fueled by the colonialist disbelieving nations that have taken it as a field of competition between them over our skulls and blood... As for if you travel to the West, you will find Libya where Muslims are fighting among themselves... Then if you turn toward Central Africa, you will see that the Muslims there have been afflicted by harm, damage, the shedding of pure blood, and the violation of sanctities that defies description... Then its neighbor Sudan, whose south has been separated from its north, and its wound left bleeding... Then Somalia, groaning from terrible pain and hideous internal fighting for years...

All these tragedies are in the lands of Muslims that were once mighty in past years through Islam, the banner of Islam, the Adhan of Islam, and the justice of Islam... But after the disappearance of the Khilafah and the departure of the Imam who is a shield, their condition changed, and they tasted bitterness as the colonialist disbelievers and their agent oppressive rulers fell upon them... Not to mention the tragedies of Muslims in the lands of the disbelievers—speak and there is no limit. Those nations want Muslims to shed their skin; they place a siege around the dress of their women, they exert every effort to silence the sound of their Adhan, and they spread hatred against them in their societies and life facilities, even in their streets... These are tragedies since the absence of the Khilafah, following one another, accumulated calamities that leave the wise person bewildered...

O brothers, if these tragedies had struck any other nation, it would have collapsed or nearly so, and would have despaired of the continuation of life if any life remained in it... As for the Islamic Ummah, it has in the Book of its Lord, the Sunnah of its Prophet, and even in the phenomena of creation like night and day, that which makes it not shake in hardships nor does its resolve soften in crises. Rather, it increases in strength upon strength and determination upon determination... It performs its work with strength and excellence and turns to its Lord with sincere reliance:

  • As for the Book of its Lord, the verses of Allah speak of this:

فإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا * إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا

"For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease." (QS Ash-Sharh [94]: 5-6)

"[It was so] until, when the messengers despaired and were certain that they had been denied, there came to them Our victory, and whoever We willed was saved. And Our punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals." (QS Yusuf [12]: 110)

"Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, 'When is the help of Allah?' Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near." (QS Al-Baqarah [2]: 214)

  • As for the Seerah of its Prophet, it is what happened to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when it was the Year of Grief; Khadijah, the Mother of the Believers, may Allah be pleased with her, passed away, then the death of Abu Talib who used to aid the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, followed by that violent rejection from the people of Ta'if which caused the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to bleed... Then the crisis intensified and they agreed to kill the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and they followed him ﷺ to the cave of Thawr while he was hidden there with his companion as-Siddiq Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him. They stood before the door of the cave, and there was nothing between them and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ except an arm's length or less... That was on the eve of that day, and a day or two later, the Messenger ﷺ was establishing the state in Medina and raising its edifice, so the world shone and he proclaimed the truth...

  • As for the phenomena of creation in night and day, the intensification of the darkness of night is followed by the breaking of the true dawn, and that is a sign for those of understanding...

Thus, the Islamic Ummah does not despair of the mercy of Allah. It realizes that ease follows hardship, relief follows distress, and the breaking of dawn follows the darkness of night... It is not shaken by shocks, but rather works and works sincerely for Allah and truthfully with the Messenger of Allah... It is not harmed by those who deviate or go astray, for most of it does not accept any alternative to Islam...

O brothers, those disbelievers breathed a sigh of relief after the disappearance of the Khilafah, so they committed their crimes while they were safe; no one stands in their face, no one stops them from their crimes, and no one returns them to their homes... They realize that the shield of the Muslims is gone, and thus they exert every effort so that this shield does not return. Because they realize that the creator of this shield is the Khilafah, where the pride and protection of Muslims lie, they pursue those working to re-establish the Khilafah... Thus, Hizb ut-Tahrir became a target for the arrows of the colonialist disbelievers and their agent rulers in the Muslim lands. Consequently, the Party has been subjected to various forms of harassment and torture leading to martyrdom from the plot of the disbelievers, the spies of the oppressors, and the hatred of the hateful... The Party has been banned and prohibited in the lands of the Islamic world, even in those lands open to parties of various kinds, such as Indonesia, where the Party was banned! Likewise, in those lands where doors are wide open for parties of all sorts, even the worthless ones, such as Tunisia, the Party was also banned... As for the shabab of the Party, the prisons of the tyrants speak of their condition; in their narrow prisons they are tortured, and in their larger prison they are pursued. As for why all this is happening, it is because of the word of truth that the Party proclaims, which shocks them more than the striking of swords because they possess no argument to stand before the word of truth—may Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?

O brothers: These tragedies that befall the Ummah and those working for the Khilafah are very, very severe. If it were not for the fact that Allah Almighty has made Eid a source of joy and a means of bringing delight and happiness into the hearts of Muslims, and a time for good ties of kinship, and for the Ummah to spread greetings and peace... and if it were not for the promise from Allah Almighty of pride and empowerment coming to this Ummah... and if it were not for the glad tidings from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ of the return of the Right-guided Khilafah... and if it were not for a Party sincere to Allah Almighty, truthful with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, working day and night, beseeching and supplicating to Allah to grant victory at its hands by establishing the Khilafah and restoring the glory of Islam and Muslims... If it were not for these four things, smiles would have refused to grace faces, for there is a wound in the heart and a lump in the throat due to the multitude of tragedies surrounding the Muslims from front and back, right and left... The Khilafah has been absent for nearly a century, so the Muslims have become scattered fragments, ruled by oppressive ruwaybidat (insignificant) rulers... not to mention the aggression of the colonialist disbelievers and their allies against the lands and the people, as if the lands of the Muslims are a field of conflict for shedding our blood and violating our sanctities...

However, despite the severity of these tragedies, Hizb ut-Tahrir is confident in Allah's victory and the fulfillment of His promise and the glad tidings of His Messenger ﷺ. It does not despair of Allah's mercy as long as it performs its work well by the permission of its Lord. The Party realizes that the time for the return of the Khilafah is written in the Book, and every day that passes brings us one day closer to that time. A Party of this nature does not let despair enter its heart, nor does its resolve soften or its strength weaken, by the permission of the Almighty, the All-Wise. Rather, hardships increase its strength; hardships are the touchstone of men, and the shabab of the Party are true men who pray to Allah Almighty to be among those about whom Allah said:

رِجَالٌ لَا تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجَارَةٌ وَلَا بَيْعٌ عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ يَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا تَتَقَلَّبُ فِيهِ الْقُلُوبُ وَالْأَبْصَارُ

"[Are] men whom neither commerce nor sale distracts from the remembrance of Allah and performance of prayer and giving of zakah. They fear a Day in which the hearts and eyes will [fearfully] turn about." (QS An-Nur [24]: 37)

They carry the dawah with their right hands by the grace of Allah, and this dawah will be raised by their hands, if Allah wills. Then the promise of Allah Almighty and the glad tidings of His Messenger ﷺ will be fulfilled in its three branches by the success and help of Allah:

  • First: In the return of the Khilafah on the method of Prophethood after this forced kingship: Imam Ahmad and at-Tayalisi narrated in his Musnad from the Hadith of Hudhayfah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

"...Then there will be forced kingship, and it will remain as long as Allah wills it to remain. Then He will remove it when He wills to remove it. Then there will be a Khilafah on the method of Prophethood."

  • Second: In uprooting the state of the Jews from its roots. Muslim narrated in his Sahih from Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

    «لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُقَاتِلَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ الْيَهُودَ، فَيَقْتُلُهُمُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ...»

"The Hour will not be established until the Muslims fight the Jews, and the Muslims will kill them..."

And in another version, he ﷺ said:

    «تُقَاتِلُكُمُ يَهُودُ، فَتُسَلَّطُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ»

"The Jews will fight you, and you will be given power over them."

  • Third: In the opening of Rome, by the permission of Allah. Ahmad narrated in his Musnad and al-Hakim, who graded it authentic and al-Dhahabi agreed with him, from Abu Qabil who said: We were with Abdullah bin 'Amr bin al-'Aas, and he said: While we were around the Messenger of Allah ﷺ writing, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked: "Which of the two cities will be opened first: Constantinople or Rome?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

    «مَدِينَةُ هِرَقْلَ تُفْتَحُ أَوَّلًا، يَعْنِي قُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةَ»

"The city of Heraclius will be opened first, meaning Constantinople."

Constantinople has been opened, and Rome will be opened, if Allah wills...

O brothers, reflecting on what is written above with a sound mind and wise understanding brings hope after pain, glad tidings of joy after a reality of sorrow, ease after hardship, and a prosperity that has drawn near after a misery that has lasted long... then goodness and victory... goodness and victory... goodness and victory.

"And on that day the believers will rejoice in the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful." (QS Ar-Rum [30]: 4-5)

In conclusion, I ask Allah Almighty that this good and blessed Eid returns while the Islamic Ummah is shaded by the banner of the Right-guided Khilafah, the banner of al-Uqab, the banner of La ilaha illallah Muhammad Rasulullah... I also ask Him, the Almighty, that the shabab of the Party be at the forefront of this Ummah, shaded with it by the shade of the Right-guided Khilafah... As for the young man whose term Allah decrees to end before the return of this Eid, I ask Allah Almighty for him to be shaded by His shade on the day when there is no shade but His shade, for Allah is Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Finally, I convey to you my greetings of peace and I pray for your well-being.

Wassalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
