Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, his companions, and those who follow him. To proceed:
To the noble Islamic Ummah, to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah, to the noble carriers of the da'wah, to the esteemed visitors of the page...
Peace be upon you and the mercy and blessings of Allah. May Allah accept your acts of worship and make this Eid full of goodness and blessings for you. May Allah accept the Hajj of the pilgrims, making it a Hajj Mabrur (accepted pilgrimage), a Sa’y Mashkur (an appreciated effort), and a Dhanb Maghfur (a forgiven sin). May Allah enable those who did not perform Hajj this year to do so next year in goodness and well-being.
Dear brothers, we glorify Allah and praise Him for the blessing of Islam. We praise Him, Glory be to Him, and glorify Him for the blessing of carrying the da'wah within the ranks of Hizb ut-Tahrir to establish the Khilafah. We praise Him, Glory be to Him, and glorify Him that this Party has remained standing despite the plots of the colonial disbelievers and their agent rulers in the Muslim lands, and despite the cunning of the hypocrites, those in whose hearts is a disease, and the spreaders of rumors. Yes, we glorify Allah: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar... Indeed, the Khilafah for which the Party works disturbs the sleep of the colonial disbelievers and terrifies their agent rulers in the Muslim lands. It agitates the heads of the hypocrites and the spiteful ones—those in whose hearts is a disease—who run after the disbelievers to protect them, as they claim, from what might befall them:
"So you see those in whose hearts is disease hastening into [association with] them, saying, 'We fear lest a misfortune overtake us.' But perhaps Allah will bring conquest or a decision from Him, and they will become, over what they have been concealing within themselves, regretful." (QS Al-Ma’idah [5]: 52)
Brothers, crises have intensified for the Party since its inception. Various people, whose insights Allah has blinded with their disbelief or whose hearts He has deadened with their hypocrisy, have carried the burden of these crises. They cooperated in sin and transgression, thinking they could prevent the return of the Khilafah. They were states stunned by the word of truth, and groups and individuals terrified by the word of sincerity. Both groups are surrounded by their own evil plots, and Great Allah has spoken the truth:
وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ
"And the evil plot does not encompass except its own people." (QS Fatir [35]: 43)
As for the spiteful colonial disbelieving states that hate Islam and the return of its state, who harbor a hatred for the Khilafah akin to the hatred of the Crusades—these states and their agents have exerted every effort in devising malicious methods and creating hideous means to pursue those working for the Khilafah state, arresting them and torturing them to the point of martyrdom in their prisons. They justify this to themselves sometimes with the lie of "terrorism" and at other times with the lie of being a "conveyor belt for terrorism." Recently, their minds came up with the lie of "electronic terrorism"! They claim the Party fills its members' pages with terrorist views and ideas that incite violence, and they have begun pursuing the Party's shabab on their pages, arresting and torturing them under the pretext of committing "electronic terrorism." Anyone with eyes can see that the pages of the Party’s shabab radiate with the sincerity of the word and the clarification of truth, while the pages of those people overflow with cheating, deception, lies, and fabrications. May Allah ruin them; how are they deluded?
As for those in whose hearts is a disease, the hypocrites, and the spreaders of rumors... their violations and fabrications began long ago, not just today. However, their criticism and fabrication at the beginning were concentrated against the leadership and officials, while they deceptively showed confidence in the Party’s idea (fikrah) and method (tariqah). This is how they would show and hide their primary goal, which was to shake the entity of the Party, not just the leadership. But in recent years, they began attacking the structure of the Party—its idea and method. They focused their attack on Tabanni (Adoption), Nusrah (Seeking Support), leading the Ummah, accountability, the monthly dues, etc. Thus, they exposed themselves before others could! The goal they were hiding—shaking the Party’s entity in its idea and method—has become clear and apparent to anyone with eyes. Yet, the Party remained standing, firm, and good:
كَشَجَرَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ أَصْلُهَا ثَابِتٌ وَفَرْعُهَا فِي السَّمَاءِ تُؤْتِي أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِينٍ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهَا
"Like a good tree, its root is firmly fixed and its branches [reach] to the sky. It produces its fruit at all times, by permission of its Lord." (QS Ibrahim [14]: 24-25)
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
Dear brothers, the colonial disbelieving states and their agents will not sit idly by; rather, they will continue to manufacture malicious methods one after another. Preventing the Party's success in establishing the Khilafah is a vital issue for them, just as establishing the Khilafah is a vital issue for the Party and all believers. The enemies of Islam will not abandon their plotting against the Party and the Khilafah, nor will they cease their cunning. Although their worldly capabilities are above ours, there are four truths by which our hearts are reassured and our determination is strengthened. Thus, by Allah's permission, hardships do not shake us, nor do trials weaken us; rather, they increase us in strength upon strength. The plotting of those people will recoil upon them, and their own cunning will kill them:
وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِنْدَ اللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِنْ كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ الْجِبَالُ
"And they had planned their plan, but with Allah is [recorded] their plan, even if their plan had been [sufficient] to do away with the mountains." (QS Ibrahim [14]: 46)
Subsequently, the Party continues to stand, proclaiming the truth, fearing not the blame of any critic for the sake of Allah, until it establishes the Khilafah, by Allah's permission, while the noses of those people are rubbed in the dust.
As for these four truths, they are:
First: That hardship heralds relief. This is found in the decisive verses of Allah in more than one place:
حَتَّى إِذَا اسْتَيْأَسَ الرُّسُلُ وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ كُذِبُوا جَاءَهُمْ نَصْرُنَا فَنُجِّيَ مَنْ نَشَاءُ وَلَا يُرَدُّ بَأْسُنَا عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
"[They were continued] until, when the messengers despaired and were certain that they had been denied, there came to them Our victory, and whoever We willed was saved. And Our punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals." (QS Yusuf [12]: 110)
This is confirmed by the Seerah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ; victory approached as the crisis intensified. It is mentioned in the Seerah of Ibn Hisham: "Ibn Ishaq said: Then Khadija bint Khuwaylid and Abu Talib died in the same year, and calamities followed one after another upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ... and that was three years before the Hijrah... Ibn Ishaq said: When Allah Almighty willed to manifest His religion, honor His Prophet ﷺ, and fulfill His promise... he met a group from the Khazraj... so he invited them to Allah Almighty... and they responded to him and accepted from him..." In the following season was the first Bay'ah of Aqaba, then the second, then the Hijrah and the establishment of the state. Thus, hardship upon the working believers heralds relief and victory by the permission of Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
The second truth: Allah has promised Istikhlaf (succession/authority):
وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلِفَنَّ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ
"Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them." (QS An-Nur [24]: 55)
The Messenger ﷺ gave glad tidings of it after this compulsive rule (mulkan jabriyan) we are in. Ahmad and Abu Dawud narrated from Hudhayfah that he ﷺ said:
"...Then there will be a compulsive rule, and it will remain as long as Allah wills it to remain. Then He will end it when He wills. Then there will be a Khilafah on the method of Prophethood. Then he remained silent."
The third truth: Allah's promise of Istikhlaf and the Messenger’s glad tidings of the return of the Khilafah are inscribed in Allah's decree, in His knowledge in the Preserved Tablet (Al-Lawh al-Mahfuz). It is set for a specific time with Allah, the Almighty, the All-Wise, and it will not fail. Every day that passes brings us closer to that appointment, not further from it; thus, our souls remain attached to it, rejoicing in its news.
The fourth truth: Allah does not send down angels from the sky to establish the Khilafah for us. Rather, Allah's way (sunnah) with His creation is that He honors those from the people of the earth who deserve the honor of establishing it at their hands through their diligence, hard work, and the excellence and perfection of their actions for it. Indeed, Hizb ut-Tahrir, working for it, is—by Allah’s permission—most deserving and worthy of it. We ask Allah, Glory be to Him, to honor us with victory and conquest, so that we may be among the soldiers and witnesses of the Khilafah. Then, our takbirat during our Eids will mingle with the takbirat of the conquering soldiers in the battles of clear victory:
وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ * بِنَصْرِ اللَّهِ
"And on that day the believers will rejoice in the victory of Allah." (QS Ar-Rum [30]: 4-5)
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar... La ilaha illa Allah... Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahi al-hamd.
Peace be upon you and the mercy and blessings of Allah.
Your brother,
Ata Bin Khalil Abu al-Rashtah
