What is behind the Qatari generosity towards the Arab Spring?
Answer:
Wa Alaikum Assalam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,
My brother, Syria is currently a zone of hot conflict:
A- It has been a region of American influence since the time of Hafez and Bashar. However, the US has realized, based on ongoing events, that Bashar is effectively fallen and no longer accepted by the people. Consequently, he can no longer serve American interests as he and his father did before. Therefore, the US is now working to find a replacement agent for the current one by preparing its own puppets (sana’i), such as the National Council and the Coalition.
B- Because these puppets are internally unacceptable—as they advocate for a secular civil state while the people's sentiments are Islamic, and they did not make such sacrifices only for the regime to return as it was, replacing one dark face with another equally bleak one—the people inside do not accept them. Thus, America's puppets are estranged from the people's demands. Because of this, America—directly or indirectly—gives Bashar the green light for killing and brutality, thinking this will subjugate the people inside so they will accept its puppets from abroad. America even goes as far as attempting military intervention under various pretexts to impose its puppets, should the killings and brutality carried out by Bashar and his associates fail to force the people into submission.
C- As for Europe, it realizes that actual influence over the regime belongs to America. Thus, Europe (Britain and France) exerts its utmost effort to have a role through its agents in the region, particularly Qatar, because it possesses abundant wealth to buy loyalties within the Council and the Coalition, as well as among some people inside. This is done to ensure a foothold, even if small, in any future solution managed by America.
D- This is what America plans, and what Europe plans. America manages solutions with Russia, leaving Europe panting behind. This is why when Kerry meets the Russian Foreign Minister, the British Prime Minister rushes there, visiting Russia and America to find out what they have done! Europe realizes that America does not want its actual participation in any solution. Therefore, Britain and France strive vigorously to obstruct America, whether directly through EU meetings or through their agents in the region—the wealthiest being Qatar—trying to disrupt America's planned solutions. This is what Qatar is doing, not only in Syria but in other countries of the region, for the sake of European interests, particularly Britain’s.
E- As for the role of the Ummah and the sincere people within it, it is to prevent America, Europe, and their agents from achieving their evil goals. Rather, the Ummah must not accept any alternative to the Khilafah. Pure blood has been shed and great sacrifices have been made to replace the regime of the Taghut with the system of Islam. Anything other than that is an imminent evil. Neither the transitional nor the provisional government, nor Geneva 1 or Geneva 2, will bring any good to this Ummah. Instead, they are all solutions that praise America and its allies, plotting against Islam and Muslims secretly and openly:
قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَاءُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِي صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ
"Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater." (QS. Ali 'Imran [3]: 118)
America and its allies have resolved and gathered their plots to ensure that Bashar is only succeeded by an agent like him, who protects their interests and the security of the Jewish entity, just as Hafez, Bashar, and their ilk did. America is creating an atmosphere for the tyrant of ash-Sham to kill and destroy until it finishes maturing the alternative agent. But they do not realize the greatness of this Ummah; for from its loins come real men who build the earth despite the noses of the oppressors, and increase the crops and livestock despite the plots of the hypocrites. This Ummah has dealt with their likes before: the Crusaders and the Tatars who spread corruption, killing, and destruction on earth. Yet, the Ummah defeated them, expelled them in a most humiliating manner, and they became a thing of the past as if they had never flourished. The Ummah returned to life anew, destroying its enemies and eliminating them from where they least expected, returning as the best nation produced for mankind:
كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَلَوْ آمَنَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ مِنْهُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
"You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient." (QS. Ali 'Imran [3]: 110)
