Lamentation for the Dear Brother and Uncle Fathi Muhammad Salim "Abu Ghazi"

O Lord, grant Your mercy

O Lord, we continue to witness the transition of the pioneer generation to Your side, one after another. Although this is a blessing and favor from You, as they go to meet their loved ones—Muhammad and his companions—we would have loved for them to witness the harvest of the ears of goodness they sowed and to enjoy the fruits of the blessed planting they established. Nevertheless, we say nothing except that the good is in what You have chosen, Glorified be You, and there is no power nor might except with Allah.

O Lord, we are still walking on a difficult path, covered with thorns and surrounded by the oppressors. Despite this, we strive and exert ourselves by Your permission, O Lord, to pave the way, indifferent to the blood that flows from our hands as a result of uprooting the thorns. Likewise, we stand firmly in the face of the oppressors to remove their injustice, to revive the Ummah, and to bring it happiness, without fearing the might of the oppressors, their harm, or even martyrdom in their cells... O Lord, we are like candles that burn to illuminate the darkness with the light of Islam, and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers.

O Lord, we still see our loved ones passing to the Highest Companion without us being able to bid them a final farewell. My father, may Allah have mercy on him, passed away while I was in one of the oppressors' prisons. Then my mother, may Allah have mercy on her, followed him while I was in another of their prisons. Later, my eldest brother, may Allah have mercy on him, passed away while I was far from him, a stranger. And now, here is my brother, my uncle, and my dear one passing to Your side while I am also far from him, a stranger.

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

"Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return." (QS. Al-Baqarah [2]: 156)

In conclusion, O Lord, You commanded us to supplicate and promised us an answer, and You, Glorified be You, do not break Your promise. O Allah, do not let the enemies gloat over us, nor enable them to mock us by saying: "The dawah carriers of the Khilafah are working for a futile cause; their lives have grown long and their Khilafah has not yet been established!" O Allah, hasten for us Your great victory and grant us a clear opening, so we may proclaim the Khilafah in the faces of the oppressors, carrying Al-Liwa in one hand and Al-Rayah in the other, shouting in their faces, repeating:

قُلْ مُوتُوا بِغَيْظِكُمْ

"Say, 'Die in your rage.'" (QS. Ali 'Imran [3]: 119)

If you have ridiculed us without right, then we ridicule you with truth, and you shall be among the most humiliated. O Allah, O Lord, Amin.

And as a final conclusion, we beseech You, O Lord, that no one from the pioneer generation be taken after today except under the shade of the Khilafah established by Your permission in the near future.

May Allah have mercy on our departed dear one, one of the prominent scholars, our loss and the loss of the Muslims, Abu Ghazi. May Allah Almighty gather him with the Prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs, and the righteous; and how excellent these are as companions.

Your servant, O Lord, The one seeking Your forgiveness and Your victory
