Answer to a Question
Question: Netanyahu visited Moscow on 12/09/2019 during a critical election period, less than two weeks before the Jewish entity’s elections. Prior to that, on 05/09/2019, he made a whirlwind visit to Britain, meeting with the British Prime Minister, who was weighed down by Brexit concerns. This occurred during a period where Johnson suffered consecutive defeats in the British Parliament regarding Britain's exit from the European Union without a deal... It is clear from these visits that Netanyahu is in a hurry! So, what is behind these visits that appear strange and emergent? Are they for electoral reasons or for other different purposes?
Answer: The circumstances in which the visits took place indicate that the purpose is not electoral, even though international tours benefit Netanyahu electorally. However, they are not the intended purpose according to the international and regional circumstances of the visit. To make the picture clear, we summarize the following:
First: Describing these visits as strange and emergent, especially his visit to London, is an accurate description. The Prime Minister of the Jewish entity met with British Prime Minister Johnson, who is surrounded by parliamentary setbacks regarding the implementation of his promises to take Britain out of the European Union on 31/10/2019, with or without a deal. He is unable to focus on international issues outside of Brexit; some parliamentarians from his own party are rebelling against him, and Parliament is voting on the necessity of an agreement with Brussels, demanding he delay the date for another three months. The British House of Lords ratified the Parliament's rapid decisions, and there are calls for his resignation... So, his visit under these difficult circumstances that Britain is going through is indeed strange and emergent, and were it not for an important and urgent matter, it would not have happened... What increased the ambiguity of this emergency visit was another matter: his meeting with American officials in London. The visit of US Vice President Pence to Britain had been scheduled since the White House announcement on 14/08/2019 to discuss matters related to the future of US-British relations after Brexit and to discuss the "threat of Chinese influence" via 5G networks that the Chinese company Huawei intends to build in Britain. It was not scheduled at that time for the US Secretary of Defense to accompany the Vice President on his visit, nor was it scheduled to meet officials from the Jewish entity in Britain. All this is according to what was reported by Al-Watan newspaper on 14/08/2019 in the statement issued by the White House... Netanyahu met with the US and British Defense Ministers, as reported by the BBC on 06/09/2019... Despite the publication of news regarding Netanyahu's meeting with the US Defense Secretary, his meeting with the Vice President was not mentioned by any source, even though they were together in London, which indicates that it was held in secret! It seems that the Vice President's meetings were secret to warn both parties against any planning outside of American policy!
Second: Furthermore, these sudden visits came in light of interconnected related events:
America has abandoned any protection for other countries' ships. US President Trump expressed (his dissatisfaction with what he called "the United States protecting maritime routes for no return for years" in the Strait of Hormuz, demanding that the countries of the world, led by China and Japan, "protect their own ships themselves." TRT Arabic 29/07/2019). Similarly, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that Britain must ("take responsibility for protecting its own ships"... Anadolu Agency 22/07/2019). This means easing American pressure on Iran regarding the seizure of other ships.
Despite the fog surrounding British policy since its people voted for Brexit in 2016 and the broad doubts about its implementation, politicians in Britain occasionally try policies that show emancipation from European Union restrictions and manifest a singular British will. Among these is that the British exploited America's tension in its relations with Iran, its withdrawal from the nuclear deal, and the wave of ship explosions in the Gulf. Britain, contrary to the European Union's tendencies, detained an Iranian oil tanker in Gibraltar on 04/07/2019. That is, at a time when European countries were trying to soothe the atmosphere with Iran and show they were not being dragged behind the American policy that disavowed the nuclear deal, and while they were trying to find a European mechanism for trade and financial exchange with Iran, Britain went against this trend and escalated tensions with Iran. It is likely that Britain was pushing America into the abyss of war with Iran, especially after the British crisis with Iran deepened when Britain released the detained Iranian oil tanker Grace 1 on 15/08/2019 after Iranian guarantees that the ship would not head to Syria, which is subject to EU sanctions. After a long wave of camouflage toward Greece and then Turkey, the Iranian tanker, renamed Adrian Darya-1, arrived in Syria according to what RT reported on 06/09/2019 from the Middle East Eye website in London. By the Iranian tanker heading to Syria in violation of Iran's guarantees to Britain, Britain received a slap in the face. Until this moment, Iran is still detaining the British oil tanker Stena Impero and has not released it! This is a second slap Britain received. Likewise, the British naval vessel HMS Montrose was subjected to many skirmishes by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. The Jewish entity's bombing of Iranian targets, particularly in Syria and Iraq:
A- During the years of the Syrian revolution, the Jewish entity became accustomed to bombing Iranian targets inside Syria without receiving a response from the "Resistance Axis." The Jewish entity increased those attacks and targeted leaders of the Lebanese Iranian party in Syria. Iran used to deny that those attacks inside Syria targeted it, as if the Jewish entity's killing of Syrians or members of its party in Lebanon did not matter to it; what mattered was denying that Iranian victims fell directly. Finally, the Jewish entity announced a major targeting of Iran inside Syria (a spokesperson for the Israeli army said that Israeli planes bombed on Saturday "24 August 2019" Iranian forces near Damascus that were planning to launch drones toward targets in Israel. The army continued in a statement, "The strike targeted the Quds Force and Shiite militias planning to advance plans to launch attacks targeting sites in Israel from within Syria during recent days." A military spokesperson told reporters that the forces were preparing to launch "killer drones" at Israel. Deutsche Welle website 24/08/2019). This represented direct and public military provocation by the Jewish entity against Iran and a challenge to it, which opened the door wide to the possibility of a war between them if Iran responded. Despite the fall of Iranian dead during the attacks of the Jewish entity (the Syrian Observatory confirmed, Sunday, the fall of two Hezbollah dead and a third Iranian in the Israeli raid near Damascus. Al-Arabiya Net 25/08/2019), because America does not want Iran to engage in a war with the Jewish entity that could drag America into its furnace, Iran denied the fall of Iranian dead in the raid...
B- As for Iraq, since the beginning of August 2019, the Jewish entity has been targeting Iranian weapons depots and Iranian experts inside the Hashed al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces) camps. This is a major escalation by the Jewish entity against Iran, such as the attack on the "Saqr" base belonging to the Iraqi Hashed al-Shaabi south of Baghdad on 12/08/2019, which was the third attack in weeks, and the bombing of the "Al-Shuhada" camp in Saladin, which also belongs to the Hashed al-Shaabi. The Jewish entity was directly targeting Iranian weapons depots and Iranian experts (Agence France-Presse quoted a police officer in Saladin saying, after inspecting the site of the bombing, that the deceased was from the tribal mobilization, while the two wounded were "Iranian military engineers" who were in the camp. Arab 48, 12/08/2019). Then the attack on 25/08/2019 near the Iraqi city of Al-Qa'im on another camp and mobile vehicles. To soothe the atmosphere, Iraq would announce a small number of victims, and Iran would not announce its victims, but it became clear and public that the Jewish entity had begun to challenge Iran and its direct presence in Iraq in addition to Syria.
Third: By reflecting on the previous matters, we conclude the following:
Britain, having been insulted by Iran through harassment of its ships in the Gulf and the continued detention of its ship, is pushed to ignite a war against Iran to embroil America in it. Naturally, Britain would participate in it to avenge itself against Iran. Therefore, it is keen not to soften the violent tone against Iran. Thus, it rejected the optimistic American tone in the statement of the US Secretary of Defense (Esper—the US Secretary of Defense—said at the Royal United Services Institute in London, "It seems in some way that Iran is slowly approaching a situation where we can hold talks, and we hope it continues in this way." When asked in a press conference later what those statements were based on, Esper said they were "in light of some comments made by the Iranians after the G7 summit." Reuters 06/09/2019). Britain rejected this tone, even if it was a veiled rejection (The British Defense Minister said on Friday, during a press conference with Esper, that Britain will always provide assistance to the United States on the path of talks with Iran if an agreement can be reached, but he stressed the need to judge Iran by actions, not words. Reuters 06/09/2019). Thus, Britain has become at the heart of the hot crisis related to Iran. Accordingly, Britain has factors pushing it to ignite a war against Iran, and it meets with the Jewish state in this goal... Even the attacks of the Jewish entity intensified in Syria on 24/08, and Iraq and Lebanon on 25/08, after Iran seized the British oil tanker in the Gulf on 22/07/2019, in what resembles harmony with Britain. Therefore, it is not difficult to say that Britain has begun pushing the Jewish entity toward war with Iran and its regional arms, and that it is mobilizing the energies to tempt it to fight this war.
The Jewish state actually fears Iran's power, and it wants to ignite a war against it to embroil America. However, it noticed America's leniency toward Iran and that it does not want a war with it. Rather, it is more like political actions wrapped in military threats and tension in the Gulf for two purposes: to annoy Europe by frightening it for its ships and then insulting it through Iran—especially Britain—so it follows America in its policy... and then to financially blackmail the Gulf states under the pretext of protecting them from the danger of Iran! The tension in the Gulf is not intended for an American war against Iran; rather, America's actions toward Iran confirm this. Iran shot down the American drone on 20/06/2019, and America handled the matter calmly. Then its repeated statements about not going to war with Iran and not toppling the regime... Furthermore, when the crisis intensifies, it declares negotiations with Iran! As came in the statement of the US Defense Secretary mentioned earlier (Esper—the US Defense Secretary—said at the Royal United Services Institute in London, "It seems in some way that Iran is slowly approaching a situation where we can hold talks, and we hope it continues in this way..." Reuters 06/09/2019). In fact, this became clearer after the media circulated expectations of a meeting between Trump and Rouhani on the sidelines of the General Assembly meeting in New York regarding sanctions and relations, to the point that some newspapers called it a deal! (The possibility of a US-Iranian deal forces Netanyahu to visit Moscow... Sources indicated that Netanyahu is concerned about a US-Iranian deal that secures the "Islamic Republic" the pursuit of its nuclear program and lifts the American sanctions imposed on it. It said that what most worries the Israeli Prime Minister is the future of the Iranian presence in Syria in light of this deal... Al-Arab: 09/09/2019). This is what made Netanyahu also visit Sochi to know the Russian position if a confrontation breaks out, especially since Russia has agreements with Iran: (Netanyahu said before leaving for the resort of Sochi to meet Putin: This is a very important trip, and at this time, we are working in a number of arenas, in a 360-degree range, to ensure the security of Israel, and against Iran's attempts to attack us, and we are working against them... Ash-Sharq Al-Awsat 12/09/2019).
America realized the danger of British policy in pushing the Jewish entity toward war against Iran and its arms in the region. This war's harm is not limited to Iran and its arms, but will also hit the Jewish entity, and America cannot remain a spectator while the Jewish entity fights a war... Consequently, America took that seriously immediately after the events of 25/08 in Lebanon and Iraq, and a day before in Syria. It appears that America began working to thwart those attempts. When America learned of the visit of the Jewish entity's Prime Minister to Britain, which was dominated by the character of military planning (Netanyahu was accompanied by National Security Council Chairman Meir Ben-Shabbat, Navy Commander Eli Sharvit, and Head of Operations Directorate Major General Aharon Haliva). Military planning with Britain means the Jewish entity's use of the facilities of the British military bases Akrotiri and Dhekelia in Cyprus, or the participation of British aircraft and navy in the two bases in the war in a hidden way. This is not excluded at all in light of the slaps Iran directed at Britain, as we mentioned earlier... When America learned this, it thwarted this visit by sending its Defense Secretary to London to meet with Netanyahu, study the security needs of the Jewish entity, and agree to listen to his security concerns regarding Iran. This was to reassure the Jewish entity of its security and defense against any threats, but ultimately to dissuade it from launching war and from coordinating with Britain.
Fourth: Accordingly, it is most likely that the primary purpose of Netanyahu's visit to Britain was to study steps for escalating military confrontation against Iran in a way that leaves no room for America but to participate in it... It is expected that Britain will continue its approach of tempting the Jewish entity toward war and supporting it militarily by using British bases in Cyprus or the like, and providing the necessary facilities in the countries it controls, such as Jordan and the Emirates in particular... In contrast, America continues to push Iran and its arms to make a light response without reaching a strong response, which has been the habit of the "Resistance Axis" for decades—"responding in the appropriate place and time" or with a response to save face without an effective impact... This is in addition to America working inside the Jewish entity to prevent war through American influence within the entity's army. The situation is as it was in 2012, according to Jewish sources, that the Jewish entity spies on Iran to strike it, and America spies on the Jewish entity to know its plans against Iran and prevent them; it is the same equation today. While America's weight in preventing war can be tipped against Britain's weight in igniting it, the situation remains on the brink of explosion between the Jewish entity—tempted by Britain, its tools, and its support on one hand—and Iran and its arms on the other, with an American rhythm toward both sides until the matter settles in favor of one of those sides!
As for the purpose of the visit to Russia, it is different from the purpose of the visit to Britain. The first visit was to coordinate efforts between Netanyahu and Britain regarding the hot mobilization of events to confront Iran and embarrass America into participating in it... As for the visit to Russia, it was to know Russia's position on the presence of Iran and its missiles in Syria, and whether Russia would use "soft" pressure for Iran's withdrawal from Syria, or at least for it to distance itself from occupied Palestine by a sufficient distance to keep the impact of ballistic missiles from causing harm to the Jewish entity... It was not to coordinate a confrontation with Iran, as Russia has agreements with it; therefore, a coordination of confrontation against Iran between Russia and the Jewish state is not expected.
Fifth: Finally, the Ruwaibidah (insignificant) rulers in the lands of the Muslims allow the colonialist disbelievers—rather, without permission or leave!—to intervene in the affairs of the Muslims, propose solutions, and draw plans to achieve their interests and kill the interests of the Muslims... As for the Muslims, the owners of the land, if a group or a party arises from among them calling to the truth and clarifying the correct legal solution to our issues by resuming the Islamic way of life and establishing the Khilafah, it is considered contrary to the law, prosecuted, tortured, imprisoned... etc. Is the grove forbidden to its nightingales, but lawful for birds of every kind?!
But the Truth will come, by Allah's permission, and falsehood will perish.
وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ يَنْقَلِبُونَ
"And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned." (Surah Ash-Shu'ara [26]: 227)
