All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, his companions, and those who follow him. To proceed:
To those who travel toward awareness and sincere advice, To those who seek to reach the truth, To those who search for the sincere and good word, To all those who are receiving this radio station, I recite to them the words of the Truth, Glory be to Him:
"Have you not considered how Allah presents an example, [making] a good word like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches [high] in the sky? It produces its fruit at all times, by permission of its Lord. And Allah presents examples for the people that perhaps they will be reminded." (QS. Ibrahim [14]: 24-25)
Dear Listeners,
Indeed, the "good word" is the word of truth—sincere, pious, bold, and powerful. It is a fundamental pillar in the great Islam, as expressed and commanded by the verses of Allah (swt):
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَكُونُواْ معَ الصَّادِقِينَ
"O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with those who are true." (QS. At-Tawbah [9]: 119)
And by the Hadiths of the Messenger of Allah (saw):
ألا إنَّ أفضل الجهاد كلمةُ حق عند سلطان جائر
"Behold! Indeed, the best Jihad is a word of truth before a tyrannical ruler." (Narrated by Ahmad)
This good word, with its two branches—sincerity in piety and the strength of boldness—will, by Allah's permission, be the foundation of this vibrant radio station. It will proclaim the truth at a time when other radio stations, except those upon whom your Lord has had mercy, have cast the word of truth behind their backs. They have competed in sorcery, misguidance, fabrication, lies, cheating, and deception. They have adopted the principle that "the end justifies the means," no matter what those means may be, and regardless of how low they sink in their fall, turning truth into falsehood and falsehood into truth. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?
Dear Brothers,
In these difficult times, where the powerful word of truth is rare and precious, and where it is fought by oppressive tyrants so that it does not strike them a fatal blow by exposing their injustice and tyranny—in these difficult times, dear brothers, your radio station will, with Allah's help, make the powerful word of truth its banner, without fearing the blame of any critic for the sake of Allah. This radio station will, by Allah's permission, be both life and destruction at the same time:
It will be life for those who love goodness and strive for it; for them, it will be light upon light, guidance upon guidance, awareness, and insight. For these people, our radio station will be a delight to the ears, a comfort to the souls, and a reassurance to the hearts. Its broadcast will be a glad tidings for them, and what a glad tiding it shall be!
And it will be destruction for every oppressive tyrant, every misguiding and misguided individual who is blind in sight and insight. It will humiliate and disgrace them, exposing them to those who were deceived by them. It will manifest their misguidance, expose their conspiracies, and clarify the path to their removal and the way to their displacement. For these people, our radio station will be blindness to their eyes and deafness to their ears, and its broadcast will be a warning to them, and what a warning it shall be!
All of this, dear brothers, is so that matters become clear and manifest, as clear as the sun in the middle of the day, unclouded by mist and untouched by darkness.
"...that those who perished [through disbelief] would perish upon evidence and those who lived [in faith] would live upon evidence." (QS. Al-Anfal [8]: 42)
Dear Brothers,
On this day and at this hour, I open this radio station in the name of Allah, to proclaim the good, sincere, and powerful word, so that perhaps, dear brothers:
First: It may strengthen those who believe in this worldly life and the Hereafter, illuminate the path for those seeking light, and remove ignorance and confusion from the students of knowledge and guidance.
Second: Simultaneously, it may strike a traitor like a thunderbolt, awaken a sleeper, or restore reason to the deluded.
Finally, but not least, I congratulate you, dear listeners, on this blessed newborn, which now calls out to you in the name of Hizb ut-Tahrir, so that you may answer and respond to the call of truth it invites you to, and that you may support and aid it. This newborn will soon, by Allah's permission, grow quickly to become great, and it will then call out to you in a clear Arabic tongue:
"This is the Voice of the Khilafah, this is the Radio of Dar al-Islam, here is the word of truth, the good word..."
"...its root is firmly fixed and its branches [high] in the sky." (QS. Ibrahim [14]: 24)
And that is not difficult for Allah.
Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
