Dear Brothers,

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings,

I have been pleased by your luminous stances and your steadfastness upon the truth, without fearing the blame of any blamer, even though problems surround you and the weak-souled and those in whose hearts is a disease are all around you. You have been as He (swt) said:

"Those to whom people said, 'Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them.' But it [only] increased them in faith, and they said, 'Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.' So they returned with favor from Allah and bounty, no harm having touched them. And they pursued the pleasure of Allah, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty. That is only Satan who frightens [you] of his supporters. So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers." (Surah Ali 'Imran 3:173-175)

Dear Brothers,

We follow the example of the Messenger of Allah (saw) by carrying the dawah in its three stages. Just as the polytheists stood against him with all their might, so too do the tyrannical rulers stand against us, aided by the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease who have donned the garb of Islam—thinking that the turn of fortune will be in their favor rather than against them, seeking a worldly gain or a fleeting spoil from the tyrants:

"So you see those in whose hearts is disease hastening into [association with] them, saying, 'We are afraid a misfortune may strike us.' But perhaps Allah will bring conquest or a decision from Him, and they will become, over what they have been concealing within themselves, regretful. And those who believe will say, 'Are these the ones who swore by Allah their strongest oaths that they were indeed with you?' Their deeds have become worthless, and they have become losers." (Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:52-53)

Dear Brothers,

Your open proclamation of the truth has stunned the enemies of Islam and the Muslims. Though you carry no weapons and lead no armies, you have nonetheless turned their plots back against them and made the outcome of their affairs a loss, so the people rejected them... These people did not realize that the people of falsehood, no matter how high they rise, will fall into the quagmires they created with their own hands... Likewise, they did not realize that the sword alone is of no use if it is not accompanied by awareness and insight... Had the leaders of the Hay’ah been rational while witnessing the normalization of the surrounding countries with the regime of the tyrant of Ash-Sham, they would have realized that the consequence would hit them with two choices, the best of which is bitter: submission to the tyrant of Ash-Sham, or the regime’s pursuit of them with severity and violence... Therefore, had they been wise, they would have treated the people around them well, so that they might support and aid them in those days against the regime's oppression, rather than imitating the regime in pursuing the dawah carriers as the tyrant does. If they continue, they will fall into quagmires of their own making... thus their condition in this world will worsen before the hereafter, and then they will regret it when it is not the time for regret.

Dear Brothers,

You undoubtedly know that the colonialist disbelieving states and their agents among the existing regimes in the Muslim lands arrest our youth and torture them, and some are martyred in the prisons of those states... Despite this, our determination in the way of Allah does not weaken. Those states are greater than the Hay’ah in power and greater in number... This is because we are servants of Allah who speak the truth and do not fear the blame of any blamer for the sake of Allah, and we believe that the Reliever of distress is Allah, the Mighty, the Almighty, the Restorer of our glory and the Weakener of our enemy's plot...

"And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent." (Surah At-Talaq 65:2-3)

O Brothers,

  • The intensification of a crisis is a harbinger of its relief... and we ask Allah (swt) to let these successive crises, which are overtaking one another, be followed by a victory from Allah and a near conquest by the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate). For indeed, with one hardship comes two eases, not just one:

  • Al-Hakim narrated in al-Mustadrak (2/329) with a sahih chain of narration—which Al-Hakim stated is sahih according to the conditions of Muslim, and Al-Dhahabi agreed with him in al-Talkhis—from Umar bin Al-Khattab (ra) that he was informed that Abu Ubaidah was besieged in Ash-Sham and the enemy had rallied against him. So Umar wrote to him: "Peace be upon you. To proceed: There is no hardship that befalls a believing servant except that Allah makes a relief after it, and one hardship will never overcome two eases."

  • Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his book Bada’i’ al-Fawa’id in the chapter (Comprehensive Principle on Initiation): "Regarding His (swt) saying:

Thus, the word al-usr (hardship)—even if it is repeated twice—it is repeated with the definite article (al-ma'rifah), so it is one and the same. Whereas yusr (ease) is repeated in the indefinite form (an-nakirah), so it signifies two eases. Thus, hardship is flanked by two eases: an ease before it and an ease after it, and 'one hardship will never overcome two eases'."

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings
